About ImportCostPro
We help US and EU importers compare landed costs across 20+ supplier countries — so you can find the most cost-effective source for your goods.
Why We Built This
Importers face a fragmented landscape: tariff data lives in government databases, freight rates change weekly, and Section 301 or EU preferences add another layer. We built ImportCostPro to bring these together in one place — enter your HS code and destination, and see how 20+ supplier countries compare on total landed cost, including duties, freight, and transit times.
Our goal is to make supplier country analysis accessible to both small importers and large procurement teams, without requiring customs expertise or expensive consultants.

Data Sources & Methodology
We pull tariff rates from official sources: the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and EU TARIC for duty rates. Section 301, Section 232, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties are applied as published in the Federal Register and EU Official Journal. FTA preferential rates follow USMCA, CAFTA-DR, EU-Vietnam, CETA, and other agreements as in effect.
Freight and transit estimates come from real shipping data. We update tariff data regularly; for critical decisions, we recommend verifying figures with your customs broker.
- • USA: HTS, USTR Section 301 lists, CBP trade databases
- • EU: TARIC, DG TAXUD, GSP/EBA preferences
- • FTAs: Official agreement texts and implementing regulations
